Vybiyka is a traditional Ukrainian technique in which patterns are printed onto fabric using wooden stamps. The workshop will be led by Ukrainian artist Ira Razin. All paints, stamps, bags and necessary tools will be provided.
You can also bring your own items to print on (e.g. cotton bags or T-shirts). The fabric should be cotton, denim or suit fabric and should not have a coarse texture or coating (leather, velvet, sequins or fur are also unsuitable). Each participant will design one bag for themselves and one for sale in our online shop, with proceeds going to our aid projects in Ukraine.
